Mountain Maidu Roundhouse Council Fundraiser

Roundhouse Council Inc. is a local after school program and community hub dedicated to serving the Maidu peoples in Greenville, CA. By providing educational, academic and cultural opportunities, their mission is to support the physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being of the indigenous community in Plumas County.

Local Motive and Taco Fly (a fishing guide service in Plumas County) teamed together to bring you these one of a kind, hand embroidered hats with all proceeds going to the Greenville Roundhouse Council. We are passionate about supporting our local native communities and being able to pitch in where it is needed.

Lost Sierra Food Project Artist Grant

After receiving the “Cultivate” Artist grant from Lost Sierra Food Project, I was able to dive into the world of natural dye and sewing in a way that I hadn’t before. It also gave me a deep connection with an amazing local farm that so strongly serves our community. These 5 naturally dyed, sewn in house, Fanny packs were auctioned off with all of the proceeds going back into the farm. Learn more here.
